The Revenger by Debra Anastasia

The real hero of this story is dead. You should have met him. He was a beautiful man. The love of my life. I didn’t deserve him.

Now what’s left are the jagged edges of the person I am without him, and what I have to do to get by. This isn’t even a story about love. Not really. It’s a twisted tale of revenge and hate—a happily never after.

The only man in my life now is the one I have to kill.

I’m Savvy Raine.

I used to be a wife.

I used to be a mother.

Now I am the Revenger.

As always Debra gives us glimpses into her mind. Which if you know her is a funky 60s trip through psychedelic worlds.

But she also ties in her creative world with relatable characters.

This brings us Savvy. She has had her world ripped from her and is devastated to continue on. A mother who has been scorned is no match for anyone or anything. She starts experiencing things and emotions that she never would have dreamed of.

She wants revenge and is going to get it. By any means necessary and no one will stand in her way. Danger is causing her course. She needs it. She wants it. She is addicted to it.
But with danger there is always a fall back and she wants it completely.

She simply doesn’t want to life anymore.

On her quest starts the paranormal/sci-fi aspects of her character and actions and surroundings. While I’m not a huge fan of this Debra makes it a smooth ride.

So much happens that you just stay with every word to see what happens next. One twist after another.

She takes on one trippy ride.

There is wit, heart ache, passion, love, loss, humor and uniqueness.
